Yikes, has it been almost a month???

Well, it's been a busy month. The King and Queen of Typos became new homeowners in the last month and we're moving in two weeks.

It's funny that my last post covered moving the office. I guess that was practice for this move and I was able to snag really good moving boxes as we emptied them in the office. We are moving over the next two weekends and will be out of the apartment by October 15.

The house is a corner lot, 3 bedroom, 2.75 bath and a two-car extended garage. We are moving to a smaller town about 20 miles south of where we currently live. I will continue to work at the university and will commute on the new commuter rail train that has been implemented recently. The cost of the train for one month is less than the cost of a tank of gas! Plus the university has managed a cooperative deal with the city transportation service so that university employees now get free bus rides from the train station to the university.

We are going tomorrow to meet the cable installer and I hope to take pictures then. I'm so excited about moving in to a HOUSE but more excited that for the first time in 10 years, this will be OUR HOUSE. I can't wait to add color to our lives; living in the solid beige world of the apartment complex has kept us pretty bored for the past 5 years.

How are you all? Family: Can't wait to see you all in a couple of months. Bring your own aerobed and sleeping bags since we now have space but don't have beds yet. It's going to be fun to have everyone in one place again. We hope to have 7 other people staying with us during the holiday...it will be one huge house party!

I hope to have the housewarming on Halloween, for anyone who wants to come out, dress up in costume and just have a silly time. It's going to be a potluck, bring what you want and I'll provide ice, cups and plates.
