Tonight I get to sit and watch two of my favorite people get all goofy over the guy in this photo. I understand Cal is considered a GOD by those who follow the Baltimore Orioles and those who understand his impact on baseball's recovery from the player's strike held in the early 80's. But, the biggest impact he's had is on these two friends of mine.

I am afraid Mr. Man will jump up on stage and performs inappropriate acts to Mr. Ripken and I'm just afraid my friend Lori will faint dead away upon meeting him. Watch the news tonight for stories regarding this appearance. If anyone is arrested or taken to the hospital, it will be one of the two people I will be with tonight.
